In my school, AP tests only cost $22 this year. I think it’s because the state (Minnesota) decided to pay for some of it.

My school doesn’t offer APs freshman or sophomore year.

Junior:

US History
English Language and Composition
Calculus AB (taking BC test)

Senior:

English Literature and Composition
Calculus BC
French
Biology

APs at my kids’ HS are $82 per class ($164 each for Physics C & Econ). No subsidies that I’m aware of in our state, tho if he gets credit for these courses, it will be cheaper than college tuition.

By the time he graduates this June, he will likely have taken 12 AP courses (including 3 self-studied). Would be good if whatever college he attends will give him credit for these courses: computers A&B, calc ab, physics b & c, US history, english comp & lit, econ macro & micro, US gov & environmental science.

Oh well, we’ll see how it all turns out.
I took the CLEP placement exam for foreign language & placed out of taking psychology due to the HS psych class I took.

Sophomore: Comp Sci

Junior: English Language, US History, Stats, Physics B

Senior: Gov/Eco, Bio, English Literature, Calc AB, then Chem (death) or Spanish

it’s sign up time for APs at my school, and I’m very torn on which to take. I already took Calc AB and got a 5; is it worth it to take Calc. BC? will it help me in college? also i’m taking a english class at the local college; should i take the english lang. or english lit. ap, or neither?
