What APs Do/Will You Take?

Studio art seems fun.

can i ask a really good question?

Why do we care what schedules people have? Are we doing this to show off what classes we have?

Sophomore:

You guys make me feel ridiculous. I go to a very small public school in the middle of nowhere and we have only 4 APs offered at my school: U.S. History, Biology, Lang & Comp, Literature.

This year (junior year) I’m taking US History, Bio and Lang & Comp. Next year, I’ll take Lit and probably self-study Psychology. It’s the biggest courseload you can have at my school… so I don’t feel poorly about my choices. Besides, I’m doing honors everything else (and English and History honors courses as Fresh and Soph). Meh.

I am a junior right now.

Sophomore year:
AP Bio

Junior year:
AP Chem
AP US Hist
AP Eng Lang

Senior Year:
AP Calc AB/BC

I think that is a good, doable schedule with out killing yourself.

Maybe I’ll self-study one or two more…

**- Maybe taking. My question is if i am taking Hon Pre-calc junior year, and AP Calc AB senior year… would i be allowed to take AP Calc AB junior year and AP Calc BC senior yr??? i know it seems stupid to take BC senior yr if i take the exam my junior yr but my school doesnt offer BC and you can’t take AB/BC exams the same year…so should i just wait to take AB my senior year

also all of the AP classes i take with (**) would have to be independent study. do you think that i could learn all of the material and be prepared?

Hi I was wondering if anyone could answer my quesiton :D

My school doesn’t offer AP classes at all
and we only have one honors class which is regular math…
I really want to take soem APs for future advantages,
so up to about how many APs do you think I can take by self-studying?

I am currently in 10th grade and my average so far is 96% =S
I have to take SAT I in 11th grade and SAT IIs in the beginning of 12th grade :S

**I need to get 5 in all of the ones I take =S

I don’t know. Make sure you’re taking the class for which you want to take the AP test for. Don’t try to take so much because studying for the tests requires dedication unless you happen to be Albert Einstein or Neils Bohr. Two tests a year sounds okay if you are self-studying.

I’m taking
US history
English Lang.
Cleft (okay, that’s not an AP test but my class require you to take it if you want the weighted grade.)
