What are Best, Irish, and Hayden dorms like?

Will I have a social life if I live there? Will it be a real dorm experience? I have to live there because I am a theatre major. What do you know?

Yes and Yes. If you want the most community feel I’d recommend Best C. Tends to have the most informed students because they walk past the front desk every day and also the internal situation of the dorm rooms allows people to leave their rooms open a lot more. If you are outdoorsy you will like Irish because you get an internal courtyard and hammocks. I lived in Hayden as well as Best. Hayden is the nicest of the three in terms of rooms.

They’re all the oldest on campus. They’re full of artsy kids. They have communal bathrooms and they’re starting to show their age. But the people there are supposed to be nice and very down to earth.

Weren’t Hayden East and West built in the 90s?.

Some parts of Hayden are newish, sure, but in general, the dorm shows it’s age compared to a lot of the other dorms on campus.
