What are foreign language classes like??

<p>Hello, I have to take a french course next semester. What is it like at UB?</p>

<p>Does it require a lot of time/effort? Is it hard?</p>

<p>A lot of writing? </p>

<p>(I have 4 years of high school/middle class background in it.Do you think it will be hard for me?)</p>

<p>You could take a proficiency exam to get exempt out of the foreign language requirement, the only thing is you don’t get credits for it, and would have to take credits in any department to make up for it.</p>
