I’m looking for a PhD in English. Anyone has any idea about the statistics of acceptance rates about the following schools:
UToronto, University of British Columbia, McGill University, University of Alberta, Queen’s, McMaster?
I am an Indian and I have 66% in Bachelor’s in English and 63% in Master’s from University of Delhi.
I doubt that there is anyone here who can answer your question. Admission to PhD programs isn’t easily predicted. it will depend largely on factors that can only be assessed by the admissions committee at each university. It is also important to be able to provide extensive information on your plan of research, and it almost always will rely on you finding a professor who you want to study with at that university.
My guess is that with grades in the 60s, it’s going to be very difficult to gain admission to a PhD program in Canada.
