I graduated from USC in 2018 as a first class honors student (summa cum laude, or highest honors). I had transferred to USC from a community college, where I went to save money, but I excelled in both schools and my degree is from USC. I was wondering what my chances of getting into St. Andrew’s in Scotland, and Cambridge and Oxford are high? I have work experience as well, though not entirely related to the graduate programs I am applying for, which kind of worries me. Anyway, any feedback would be really helpful. Thanks!
Applying to grad school (in the US or the UK) is more specialized than undergrad. The first question is what level/type of grad program? A taught Masters is a different kettle of fish than a research Masters, and both are different than a PhD.
You have a good undergraduate degree, so now you just have to make the case for why you are a good academic fit for the program(s) you want to apply to.
