schools i’ll be applying to with financial aid :

Dream schools : Harvey Mudd college,Cornell,Johns hopkins (i need to choose 2 from these)

other schools : SUNY-Stony brook,rice university,university of rochester,syracuse university,case western reserve university,northeastern university.(i need to choose 4 from these)

I’m looking for schools that are good at physics and computer engineering.I’m looking to double major in those.

Please suggest which universities i can apply and have a fair chance of getting into with financial aid. Also advice on how to improve my chances is appreciated.

Haha nice to see to see another telugu person on college confidential!
I’D say you have decent, however you’d greatly increase your chances with an ACT or SAT score of 2100+

can you suggest what universities i can apply to and have a fair chance of getting in?

You should try raising your SAT score to 2000+ for a decent shot at Cornell and JHU. I don’t know much about Harvey Mudd but you should look up the recent common data sets of these colleges to get a fair idea about their median SAT scores. That said, SAT scores are not the end of the world and if you are confident with the rest of your application, you may send the scores just as they are.
You have good EC’s but I’m unsure if any activities before grade 9 hold much weight, if at all. You EC’s in higher grades do seem focused and show your passion for engineering and science which is a very good thing.
Good Luck!

is it okay if i take my SAT in january because i’m taking SAT subject tests in december.

Go to the college websites to know if they accept Jan scores.
