What are my options with bad grades and a (prospective) associates degree?

Currently standing at a bare minimum GPA of 2.0, my prospects for college seem limited. Although I wasn’t exactly an underachiever through high school, I didn’t do nearly as well as I could’ve. I’ve struggled with a severe mental disorder for a while, and it’s taken a toll on my entire academic career. However, I was awarded Student of the Year in English in 11th grade and scored a 5 on the AP English Lang. exam. These aren’t incredible feats, but I do believe they would count for something. While I’m not 100% sure of my career goals (due to a sudden, ardent interest in web development), I recognize that I have somewhat of a penchant for writing.

That being said, this forum post might be horribly written. I’m tired, and I apologize. Anyhow, I’d like to know what my options are after graduating (just barely) from high school and earning an A.A. from Broward College. Do I have the option to go to a University, if I presumably do well at BC? Would internships help my chances?

Thank you to anyone who took their time to read this, and even I’m even more appreciative of anyone who has time to answer! And good luck to all of you in your college search as well

@laurathejedi Florida SouthWestern State College may be a possibility. They have several campuses with the one located in Ft Myers offering student housing if you would need that.
