What are Penn’s weaknesses? If any, of course :)

Its not as cold as Boston

a fearsome gang of squirrels

kryptonite

Inferiority complex among people who don’t go to Wharton, :p

Benjamin Franklin’s waistcoat button.

Like Achille’s Heel but a much bigger target.

im pretty sure kryptonite couldnt even stop Penn…

Aim for the heel.

A kid named david with a slingshot…

Penn has a lot against it right now:

1) Crime
2) 2nd largest of the ivies
3) everything has a business flavor due to wharton
4) housing is mediocre at best if you’re not in the quad
5) no real college house system

Don’t you think this is a bit overstated, given that there are only 1800 Wharton undergrads out of a total undergraduate population of 10,000? Is your view based on personal experience as an undergrad at Penn?

Nitty Lions not fairing too well this season…

Why do people confuse Penn and Penn State? It’s pretty damn annoying…

I’d say crime & housing are the main weaknesses. Everything else; i.e. Urban vs. Suburban, Small vs. Large, etc. would be a matter of personal preference.

BO5TON, McCash is ■■■■■■■■ for a reaction and evidently he hooked you.

haha. Even so, in general, people do it all the time. Lucky me, I go to BU. If I get another ‘how’s BC’? I’m going to flip. Although it doesnt matter anymore since I’m transferring home to the Cheesesteak Capitol of the World :P

2) 2nd largest of the ivies
i would consider this a strength in many regards

3) everything has a business flavor due to wharton
not true

Agree with crashingwaves. Wharton is pretty much one freakin’ building and CAS students never have to set foot in there if they don’t want to. However, Ben Franklin set Penn up to “offer practical as well as classical instruction in order to prepare youth for real-world pursuits”, so it could be considered the most pre-professional of the Ivies.

BO5TON,

If I were smart enough to get into Penn, I certainly would buy one.

quaker10, that should be “capital” with an “a”, shouldn’t it? “Capitol” is a building, “capital” is a city.

(spelling = another Penn weakness
)
