This is what I got from a few cadets …

It’s one of the last days of swab summer that lasts between 6 or 7 hours. You run around carrying a 40 lb seabags (the big green ones) all day. You do stuff like physical training, paddling boats up the river, swimming evolutions, running revolution, and just other random stuff. They look to see how well you work with people and your leadership skills. Sea trials is probably one of the hardest days during swab summer. They wake you up at 0430 and you do pt in ur boots. It’s fun…but tiring. It’s just a day of stations that you run around to. It’s basically a test of teamwork. You do different events while under a lot of stress and having a bunch of people yell more than normal. You do swimming and first aide. The point is really to build teamwork and learn to work together under pressure. It’s a long long day but you have everyone there to help you through it.

Hope that helps.
