Like the title says, what are some pros/cons about Appalachian State that I wouldn’t find online (I’ve looked at Virtual Tours, their website, and many third party college information websites?
You really should visit, the campus has a very specific “feel”, students love it or hate it.

Forwarded the link to my brother who went to Appalachian state. Actually, I sent it to his wife to ensure it gets the maximum distribution. I think he may have been in one of the pictures 
But getting back to OP’s request:
I know that the school is well respected by employers in Atlanta and Charlotte. My brother absolutely loved it. They have an excellent alumni network.
