That’s a really dumb headline. They weren’t competing with her, they were sharing in her pain. Their experiences don’t minimize hers.
I can’t believe that the unfortunate Tanya Boob went and married someone whose last name is Kluck!
Can you imagine – Private Boob!! The poor woman. I would have changed my name.
And Mayo Naise?? What were those parents thinking??!
My mil has Klucks on her side of the family.
I think one is a minister.
Those comments cannot be real.
She has one brother named Trajan. She chose “Sigourney” herself based upon a character in The Great Gatsby.
She has one daughter named Charlotte.
My mom’s dentist is Dr. Doctor!
Just read an obituary. The deceased, Barbara, was 101. She had sisters named Majorie and… Ariel!
There was a trauma surgeon at the large county hospital I once worked at named Dr. Kill.
Uh, yeah…
Bumping.
SSA released most popular names in 2014.
A high school classmate…his first name was his last name spelled backwards. No one can even pronounce his horrible first name. His parents must have been stoned when they named him.
A difficult last name for a male military member, Fairy. I am sure he got lots of jokes when he became a field grade officer and was now Major Fairy.
His wife loved the name as she was a child psychologist and it helped her get clients.
I refused to nickname my kids so they too correct people when other people shorten their names without their permission.
My sister’s name is just made up. Apparently there’s some small uninhabited island in Scotland with the same name, but my parents thought they just made it up. But she has a more traditional middle name which is what she goes by. I like names that end either in vowels sounds, they sound better to me.
haha…in the south you often hear chester drawers.>>>>
I grew up in NC and always knew it as chest of drawers.
I’m from Texas (via California lol) and it’s “chest of drawers” here. Never heard chester drawers!
Actually, now that I think about it, I don’t know that I’ve actually heard anyone here refer to a “dresser” as a chest of drawers even. Oh well.
The surgeon who corrected my many athletic “experiences” was named Payne. I called him Major Pain! Nrdsb4 might know him!

@xiggi, we know Dr. Payne very well. I think a lot of the soccer kids were regulars at his office.
Indeed! I always thought he did plenty of “recruiting” on the sidelines! I remember how powerful his handshake was. One of my favorites!
Where I live, Dr. Payne was a dentist. His office was in the Hurt building. No joke.
