What are the best undergrad physics departments in the UK?

<p>What are the best undergrad physics departments in the UK? I have already decided to apply to Oxford (because Cambridge has a natural science course, and I hate chemistry), Imperial College London and University College London. I need 2 more, so I want to know what 2 other uni’s are the strongest.</p>

<p>Most of the rankings online are physics & astronomy, but I’m not interested in the astronomy department.</p>

<p>Imperial is very well respected for Science, not sure about physics in particular.</p>
