@TomSrOfBoston, I’ve seen plenty of 17 year old know it all threads, but not that one.
Kids whose home state has a great flagship university, but they complain when another state’s flagship charges them OOS prices, with no aid. Their parents pay taxes to support their own state flagship, so take advantage of that!!!
Lol, there’s a chances thread requesting “precision”
The prestige thread start to get to me. And then there are posters who are parents who also have prestige perception. And they are wrong or never work in real life but frequent CC and espouse lots of craps. This tends to confuse lots of kids, they have not been in the work force.
I noticed that; I was going to answer “Precisely zero,” but then somebody would have reported me
Wherr is that thread?
Yes, no frivolity allowed on CC!
“Help, my parents make $400k, but don’t have enough left over after insuring the Ferrari to pay for college!!”
Good fortune should not be whined about.
Thread where posters defend themselves by using their school’s naviance scatterplot of GPAvs SAT graph.
Why ask then? That is hilariously wrong.
P.I.H. (Pathetic Ivy Ho) threads, as in:
Which ivy is best for aerospace engineering (or fill-in-the-blank with some other major that Ivy League schools aren’t strong in).
@Paul2752 has a poster actually cut and pasted the scatterplot into the thread?! I’d love to take a look at that post!
Hahahaha, i’ve been guilty for half of this. Now I feel bad Sorry guys.
They many threads with overly dramatic but vague thread titles like “Help! Emergency!” or “Its a crisis!” or what have you. Cut the theatrics and just post a succinct title that explains the topic.
The 2000th thread desperately pleading for more FA to attend NYU…
Most posts about valedictorians. Posts complaining about who is the valedictorian and posts by valedictorians wondering where the special valedictorian scholarships are. Posts by asian valedictorians complaining about an asian bias after not getting accepted by HYP, presumably not aware that other non-asian vals are not all getting in either…
The multiple sexual assault threads hinting that the young teen actually * wanted * for her first sexual experience to be in a broom closet with someone who didnt care about her, the college freshman was giving up her right to complain because she voluntarily entered the frat party, although she did not know her drink would be drugged, and the school that rescinds admission to suspected rapists, but will not reassign current students who have assaulted others on campus, housing away from their victims.
The threads from OOS students needing FA who still insist you just tell them their chances for UC Berkeley, after the preceeding dozen posters have told them they can’t afford it.
The one with 498 complainers. Oh, that would be this one!
