<p>I see on these threads all the time abbreviations like dh or dd and things of that nature, not to be annoying but can someone tell me what these mean?</p>

<p>dh, dd = dear husband, dear daughter…etc. IMO = in my opinion, IMHO = in my humble opinion, LAC liberal arts college, HYP = Harvard, Yale, Princeton, GF = girl friend, BF = boy friend, MIL = mother in law, SIL = sister in law.</p>

<p>Hopefully that will get you started.</p>
