<p>$3.29 regular unleaded, full-serve. No price difference for cash vs CC but I have noticed a place in town listing cash & CC prices. Most stations in town are full-serve. The self-serve one charges considerably more, but runs a promo with Stop & Shop that offers gas discounts. </p>
<p>Since my car gets about 14 MPG, this savings is still significant.</p>
<p>The Stop and Shop gas discount really helped with my gas costs this summer. We have a vacation place on an island where gas is usually in the $4.50-4.75 range–no shopping around because all stations on the island charge the same for gas. With an S/S card you get points based on the $ value of the groceries you buy. In this case S/S is the only grocery store on island, so it’s not hard to get points. I routinely got enough points to get .30-.40 cents off each gallon of gas, which brought my gas prices down a bit. The only good thing is that we’re on a small island and you don’t use that much gas.</p>
<p>All self serve in our area. Manys stations list two prices. Cash/debit and credit.</p>

<p>I love earning points at my market for gas. I have found that the stations that are in the program are always more expensive by $0.10/gal or so. I try to save up until I have at least $0.50/gal off. </p>
<p>I can’t buy cheap gas like at ap/pm or 7-11. The sensor in my gas tank goes off.
I only go to Shell, Safeway or Costco.
Yesterday, I went to the suburb to buy my favorite sandwiches, and was really shocked to see that many of the gas stations were charging almost $1.00 more a gallon than in my neighborhood.
I expect gas to be more expensive in Hunts Point, but this was north.</p>
<p>It went up a little in my neighborhood, up to 2.75. I should point out that that is cash or credit same, and also full serve (the only kind we have here in NJ).</p>

It was at one of those truck stop things off the highway, and we paid for the gas because our friends drove their car. I almost wish the state border wasn’t almost 2 hrs away- I’d be tempted to drive and fill up my car! (Kidding- I know i’d waste more time/gas doing so, just a thought to muse over).</p>
<p>Our Sams Club has it at 2.95 and they’re advertising a 5% cash back with their card. But when I checked my statements, I wasn’t getting it and they’re still working on fixing the cash back 3 weeks later.</p>

<p>the cash back usually shows up a month later. So if you bought it in billing cycle one, it will show up, at the end of the statement, in billing cycle 2. Didn’t know there was a 5% deal currently going. Its usually 2-3%. Will have to look into that.</p>
