What are your homework excuses?

What excuses do you cc’ers use when you don’t do your homework? We’ve all forgotten/been too busy/decided not to do our homework before.

Some of mine when I didn’t do my hw were:
-Its in my locker. (then do hw in halls)
-Variations of the one above like left hw folder in previous class.
-I e-mailed it to you (then proceed to do hw when I get home)
-I’m looking for it, I know its in here somewhere. (Do it while in class and show it to her at the end)
-Bring in a broken usb drive if you have a presentation and pretend to be shocked when you plug it in and it doesn’t work.

I admit it.

In my experience, teachers appreciate honesty more than rushing some crap together.

I didn’t feel like it / I was too lazy. I probably use this line every other day, or more likely every day in at least one class. I’m doing more hw now though; last year my hw average of 5 academic classes combined was around a 60% (and this is average), and middle school I never did my homework.

Never used any other excuse other than the one above for the past 5+ years or so; it’s not like if you come up with an excuse they let you (unless, I mean, MY MOM HAD CANCER LULZ, but if you’re going to use something like that for a hw excuse that’s pretty sad…).

I sort of skipped the class when I forgot to do some parts of my hw.

I have never done this, and would never have thought of doing it. But wow…

hey! that’s actually happened to me before! don’t make a joke out of it by excusing yourself from the groups of people who ACTUALLY had broken USB drives though it worked perfectly fine the night before
lol

my teachers are nicer to me now, now that they know i’m in like 6 different clubs as well as a literary team (lit mag, yearbook, newspaper, etc) and running around back and forth like a freshman should do in their first year of high school

I used to give excuses but not I just don’t blatantly don’t do and they accept it. I have no problem taking the 0s i earn, as long as i get As on every test :)

Lol. I used to do all of these when I acutally cared about that kind of thing - but now when I don’t do it, I just say “Yeah, I totally forgot” or “I just didn’t do it.” Teachers really do appreciate that more and often they’ll either excuse it [for me, they do this anyway… lol] or let me have an extra night or two to get it done.
