What classes should I dual-enroll in

I’m considering dual enrolling to take Calc II. However, I need more classes to take so I can dual-enroll. Can anyone provide me some ideas for classes I can dual-enroll in? I want to be a businessman or a pharmacist. I am also currently a junior so this will be during my senior year.

Thanks

Have you taken any AP classes?

Yeah I’ve taken five so far. I could either take some quality dual enrollments or five poorly taught AP courses next year.

I was just going to suggest making sure you don’t take any DE classes for which you will or have earned AP Credit. I like DE better because an exam does not make or break you not getting the credit. I also love AP though. Which APs/DEs are you considering?

Well I plan on taking AP Bio, AP Physics, AP Lit, AP Psych and AP Stats. I’ve taken calc ab, world history, apush, chem and gov

First of all, you’d probably make sure your AP Calculus AB wouldn’t give you the credit you’d earn with Calc II (I don’t believe it does). Also, make sure you don’t take too many AP classes along with Dual Credit. That’s why I like Dual Credit though; often times the classes are only one semester long, so if you’re taking AP classes you don’t have to review for AP Exams and a final for a Dual Credit. Just remember Dual Credit classes tend (from what I’ve seen) to be taught more like college classes, while APs are more relaxed (some anyways). I think taking Calc II is a great idea. I too am looking into pharmacy and you need lots of math as a college requirement to enroll into a PharmD program. Anyways, yeah I would recommend it. As far as other dual credit classes, maybe something medical related since many medical type classes are interchangeable for pharmacy required classes. It, of course, depends on what Dual Credit courses are offered to you as well. Hope that helped!
