11th: english AP, spanish 4, physics honors, pre calculus honors, us history AP, orchestra
12th: english AP, biology AP, calculus AP, chemistry AP, civics, orchestra

Path B:

11th: english AP, spanish 4, biology AP, calculus AP, us history AP, photography
12th: english AP, chemistry AP, statistics AP, european history AP, civics, forensic science

path one see this thread: <a href=“"Should I quit music?" Questions - High School Life - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/high-school-life/1681550-should-i-quit-music-questions.html</a></p>

Neither one is going to give you a significant advantage when applying to top schools, because admission, while partly based on courses taken, is also heavily reliant on grades, standardized test scores, rec letters, activities/awards, essays, and other factors.

Please pick Path A. And also go to the link above that @guineagirl96 posted. If music is your passion, don’t quit. No amount of AP classes in the world should be enough to keep music out of your life. Your schedule would be plenty rigorous.
