So I really want to get into a good college but I don’t know what classes to take next year currently I’m in 10th grade and I’m taking

VIDEO/MEDIA TECH B+ 88.00

And my schedule for next year is
English 11
Algebra 2
Chemistry
Pre AP French
Psychology
Economics
US/VA History
And I was thinking I should take more AP classes I’ve never taken any but I can ask my teachers to recommend me for some I was thinking maybe
AP Psychology
AP Macro
And maybe Pre AP Chem but I’m not sure what to do
You have a pretty good grade in geometry, could you take honors algebra 2 next year? I think those are both great AP options for you next year. I would do this
Honors Algebra 2
PreAP Chemistry
PreAP French
AP Psychology
AP Economics
US/VA history.
This will give you a well-rounded, rigorous schedule
I’d advise Geometry and English honors (you’ll learn more and you’ll be more competitive for colleges, especially those that offer good scholarships) .
If you can add AP us history instead of regular us history and AP macro instead of regular economics it’s be good.
Do well in your presence AP classes to take the AP 's next year!
I mean I’d have to ask my teachers to recommend me for all but I’ve never taken an AP class so taking all of those I think would be a lot idk

===> These two you can handle based on the grades you have this year. Your teachers should have no problem recommending you for the HOnors version of the class
Chemistry or Honors Chem/Pre AP Chem => ask your current science teacher
Pre AP French => based on your grade, no problem
AP Psychology => one of the easiest Ap’s, very easy to add
AP Economics => a half year/half credit class, should be doable
US/VA History => ask your current history teacher if s/he’d recommend you for HOnors US History or even APUSH.
