I have a 4.25/4.4 GPA and a 2000 SAT, 800 math, 600 reading, 600 writing
Sat 2’s math 1 770, physics 670
do i need to take math 2 for engineering??
right now i am considering between these college’s: University of Maryland: College Park, Virginia Tech, and Binghamton University. I live in new york so binghamton would be the most affordable.
Do you think I can get any substantial scholarship from either VT or UM?
Also please suggest any colleges that you think would be good for me.
i am also considering macaulay’s honors college at cuny, northwestern, and northeastern.
Please help

If you’re interested in engineering, then Georgia Tech is a great college.

If you want Northeastern to be affordable, try to retake the SAT and get at least low-mid 700s in Critical Reading and Writing to have a good shot at scholarships. Also, the Physics SAT Subject Score is alright, but that’s somewhere around the average.

University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign, University of Texas - Austin

Your grades are excellent for UT Austin. My brother got accepted this year. He is doing combined major- electrical computer engineering. He is taking three math courses which are very difficult. He also had very good grades which allowed him to add his masters with his undergrad. He will be doing school for 5 years. I believe UT Austin is an excellent choice for any student looking for a good engineering college. BTW there are plenty of high tech companies in Texas which makes it convenient for students to find internships. Hope this helped.
