<p>I am curious to the education level of the non-teenage people on this message board. Does everyone have just a bachelor degree, master degree, or PhD?</p>

When I was your age( 28?) I had a 4 year old and I was starting to attend community college classes part time ( after my day time home child care job)
I dropped out of high school, but I have taken community college classes.</p>
<p>Currently: GED and some college
Working toward: B.S., M.S.<br>
Not sure yet if I’ll go for the PhD.</p>

<p>This is pretty much the only message board I read on CC anymore…although I do take an occasional peek at the transfer board–but most of those guys are “kids” and very disparaging toward the long-term community college students.</p>

Community college </p>
<p>transferred to 4 year state college</p>
<p>transferred again to 4 year jesuit LAC after my dad died </p>
<p>Graduated, started law school, dropped out b/c I felt it was time to start my own life</p>
<p>Restarted law school at 37 and graduated at 40</p>
<p>the moral of the story which is a line from a movie “it’s never too late; that’s what death is for.”</p>

<p>I did the 4 year undergrad thing in a LAC (Depauw Univ.) and went directly to Graduate school in large state university. I was out of school for 17 years before working on the second graduate degree. I’d love a Ph.D. but figure the finances aren’t such that our son and I can be full time students at the same time. Hey…maybe we could room together. Just kidding and I mean WAY kidding.</p>

Graduate certificate in management (with a focus on nonprofits) from a reborn tub of the “WGU”</p>

<p>Someone on one of these forums questioned why anyone would get an MLS degree, but I have worked for the past 20 years as a researcher for a newspaper in NYC, and have been very happy doing this!</p>

Went back when I was 26 and did it the right way, I took regular classes,did the homework, passed the tests and got a NY regents diploma
Went to SUNY for a semester and then was offered a well paying job, so I quit. second dumb move!
I am about 13 years out from retirement, when I retire first thing I will do is go back to college.</p>
