I would like a new copyright cookbook–especially appetizers. Really nice chef’s apron–traditional oversized white.
A good bottle of wine.
A cookbook wrapped in a white chefs apron with the wine in the pocket…
@BunsenBurner those polar bear measuring cups are really cute!
Lots of really great ideas here!
I try to find locally made products from small businesses. Popular items in our area include flavored olive oil and vinegar, handmade chocolates, and real maple syrup. If you get the smaller sizes you could fill a little basket with all 3 and appeal to a wider market.
Consumables. Chocolate, wine, oils, whatever.
Super soft/furry throw blanket. super soft scarf/neckwarmer/gloves,
a pretty corkcicle cup https://corkcicle.com/products/unicorn-magic-stemless?variant=439014195215,

I like the tile idea too. I want one myself.
Totally an out there gift but I saw Star Wars ice cube mold at the mall this weekend. Super cool if you have any nerdy sci fi lovers in the group.

There is a Harry Potter one too:

@doschicos – we used to have a ton of tennis players in the area and MANY switched to pickle ball.
I’m sure that’s true. I just find it odd to give a pickle ball gift to a group of actively engaged tennis players. Being married to a very active tennis player, I know it would get zero traction. It would be like giving snowboard stuff to a skier.
I used to be a tennis fanatic, playing 6 hours a day in hot summer months in CA as a young man. As I got older, though, tennis became harder to play to my satisfaction. Pickleball is pretty much the same as tennis, just smaller real estate to cover, and therefore less straining on my aging body. One doesn’t have to give up on tennis to take up Pickleball. Play both. My two sons, both tennis fanatic like their dad, play tennis with one another, but they also enjoy playing Pickleball with me and mom in doubles.
As I read this thread…i guess there are some good ideas. But really, there is nothing on the thread that I would be excited about. Not even the consumable food items.
We do one of these gift swap things on New Years with a group of friends…and as the years have gone by, we have gone to very practical things folks will really use. And we have a theme. This year, it’s “cats” because we all have pet cats…so it will be cat toys…a variety…which the cats will be happy to have.
I just bought a S’well water bottle and a sports top for a tennis gift exchange. Half price and free shipping at Dick’s Sporting Goods. Hydroflask is 25% off. Just for Cyber Monday, I think
I went with the ear warmer head band from Athleta. Winter league is coming up and it can be cold at night and many of these gals are ‘freezy bugs’, always cold.
Now I just hope I don’t get the tennis ball cheese spreaders, the crystal with ‘healing powers’, the ugly dish towels or the fancy post-it notes. All duds from past parties.
Fall Girl wins the prize for favorite suggestion.
Thumper - speaking of cats, I once got this and I love it.

@BunsenBurner that’s great. I’m going to buy it. I already got ceramic commuter mugs that say “I wish my cat liked walks”. Of course, I’ll toss in cat toys too.
I hear Tractor Supply has a good selection. @MomofWildChild right?
Lots of cat stuff.
Barnes and Noble!!
For me the perfect gift would be a good book, a snuggly blankie, a hot cup of coffee, and left alone to read in peace!!
Apparently, not Peloton!
Well the most popular gifts last night were the gift cards. None of the other gifts were ‘stolen’ .
I got stuck with a Tile like device for finding my purse or my keys. I always know where they are. I cannot figure out any use for this thing for an organized person. The battery only lasts 6 months so useless for finding seldom used things that I might have forgotten where I put them.
Regift to a disorganized person.
@TatinG, It could be good to attach to your suitcase when you travel. That way if your bag is lost and the airline can’t find it you can.
Or… could one of your kids use it? It could make a good stocking stuffer.
