What do you buy at Costco?

Gum Soft Picks. 3 x 80 pack for $10. They work great and I haven’t found them for less. anywhere.

Car rentals seem pretty cheap at Costco. Cheaper than AAA, Hotwire, Priceline, and other places I checked, for Hawaii in high season.

I’m ordering solar shade roller blinds from Costco. They were cheaper than the prices I saw at Home Depot! Has anyone else done this? I have some swatches up now in my south facing, blasted-by-the-sun windows.

Has anyone been to a Costco in the UK or other international location? I’d be very curious to hear about the food they carry.

Search for a blog written by a woman who is currently living in the UK and travels to Australia at times. I know we can’t link to blogs but she is “addicted to costco” and gives lots of info about what she finds.

I have been to Costco in Mexico and in Canada. They carry the familiar Kirkland signature stuff in addition to local specialties (like a huge tub of Nanaimo bars I found in the downtown Vancouver BC).

^^Wow, BB. I never heard of a Nanaimo Bar and I just googled it. Boy do they look good! Glad my Costco doesn’t have them or else I’d be in a more “weighty” trouble than I already am in :)

Cute video about Costco:

Among many things, it says its cost for a hot dog and soda, at $1.50, has remained the same price for 30 years.

I am addicted to salmon jerky found at Vancouver Costco. They are not available at Toronto Costco when I visited. My Vancouver friends kindly enable me to have a constant supply at home in the Bay Area.

Here is today’s Costco.co.uk email link I received:

Last time I was at Costco I picked up a bag of this. It was fantastic! It probably won’t be around long.

Brownie brittle

I want those hampers!!! :)

I want these cobbles!
http://www.costco.co.uk/view/product/uk_catalog/cos_9,cos_9.2,cos_9.2.6/139839

I am trying a down comforter. It got mixed reviews on-line so we shall see.

Their “plush” soft blankets, I think $25, are super. Both kids loved them on third beds during thanksgiving visit here. have bought two so far. Funny, when one of the women who were giving out samples saw the blanket in my cart, she chatted about the three she bought last year, how well they launder ( don’t dry in high heat!’ Dry low)…I knew I found a winner

I have not read this entire thread - but just learned on Shark Tank that COSTCO is the country’s biggest wine seller - so do any of you buy wine in COSTCO? I live in Jersey and don’t think COSTCO can get liquor licenses in this state (at least not any of the ones in my neck of the woods have been able to.)

<a href=“Costco’s head wine buyer causes a stir with her remarks – Orange County Register”>Costco’s head wine buyer causes a stir with her remarks – Orange County Register; The head of the Costco wine dept had no former background in wine. She is now one of the most powerful in the industry.

And I think you can buy the wine without being a member.
