What do you buy at Costco?

ALso buy our tires from Costco.Have for years. Free alignment and such for the life of the tires too, IIRC.

Just bought the ribs from Costco that are packaged already marinating in the sauce. I can’t remember the name of them but I think they have the word “Smokey” in the title?? Anyway…they are fantastic. Tender, meaty, great flavor and they cook perfect on the grill.

Those are probably the ribs we got a couple of years ago. Haven’t bought them again but I remember they were good. Thanks for the reminder @carachel2 . I’ll look for them again to see if our store carries them.

They had Curly’s ribs on sale before Memorial Day. These are pre-cooked and smothered in bbq sauce. I stocked up - we love them.

@psychmomma …Curly’s sounds right!

I bought them totally on a whim and my family loved them! I went back to Costco a few weeks later to load up on them for a cookout and about had a little panic attack when they were in a completely different spot lol!

Everyone at the cookout raved about them. Total hit.

They also have Jack Daniel’s ribs and I think at one point Tony Roma’s. They also have hot prepared ribs, ready to eat and serve.

We’ve been Costco members for years and the ribs were a whim purchase for me, too! Only discovered them this year - and we’ve probably had more ribs this year than the last 5 combined.

We love their fresh meat ribs that have a rub on them - so in the fresh meet and not precooked. I take the two giant slabs that usually come in a package, break them down into pieces and rebag them into bag portions better for us. Can usually get 2-3 meals for 3 or 4 people out of one pack for under $20. Not bad for good ribs.

Tony Roma’s ribs from Costco are good. We had them last week. Pre-cooked, in sauce. Grilled them at home.

It is Tony Roma’s that we have had. I recognized the name when someone mentioned it. I remember them being good.

@abasket I have never tried those ribs but always look at them. I will have to try them. I’m not a big rib eater so will need to have a crowd over. My family likes the fresh raw dry rubbed tri tip. It is usually in the case next to those dry rub ribs.
I have been roasting a lot of vegetables lately. Yesterday picked up a bag of brussel sprouts and organic broccolini. I also bought large zucchini that I will spiralize. I also buy bananas. One complaint I’ve had lately is that a lot of the fruit and vegetables are already getting past prime. Yesterday we skipped both mini dukes and the bananas. The bananas were already yellow and soft.
One day I’m going to splurge and buy a Vitamix.

My Costco currently has the golden kiwifruit in stock. I prefer their flavor over the green kiwifruit.

I sent Costco flowers to my mother for Mother’s Day. She sent me pictures when they arrived and then again at 2 weeks and 3 weeks. They were still very pretty after 2 weeks. By the end of the 3rd week, there was only mums and filler left, but it was still enough to display in the vase. I used to buy cut flowers almost every trip to the warehouse, but lately I haven’t been very impressed with the selection.

I bought another box of the Costco Pacific Bold k cups (on sale, but seems to be the price I paid last time I bought them). They were about .3165 per kcup. Interestingly, they had the San Francisco Bay French Roast kcups for .30 per kcup, and I have had them before, and enjoyed them. However, by recollection is that these kcups are in a soft weave type basket which, while absolutely fine, is “porous” and not airtight like the regular kcups runs the risk of the coffee being less fresh since the box will be open for a long time. Does anyone know if the packets are packed inside the box to prevent the coffee fade rom getting stale tasting?

I haven’t bought that particular variety of San Francisco Bay cups, but have bought their decaf and iced tea cups from Costco.com. The box contains 160 pods which are packaged in groups of 10 in tightly sealed, compostable plastic bags. I’ve been happy with the flavor and really like the price and fact that they are a little better for the environment.

We booked our Costa Rica vacation through Costco and it was fine. We got some nice tour credits for excursions (ziplining, boating etc.). We had to change our reservations (D did not end up going with us because she had job interviews) and they were very accommodating. They honor the letter of their agreements.

Whenever possible I book vacations thru Costco. They are just simply easy to deal with and are not on commission.

Just got back from Costco- was going to get another pack of Flonase when I noticed Costco has produced their own!
So instead of paying $49.99 for 3- it was only $27.99 for 5. They were even the same size (120) Woohoo!

I buy gift cards for Peet’s coffee - at $80 for $100 worth of cards, I get a discount on my daily iced coffee!

We buy discount cards to restaurants at Costco. Purple Cafe and Seastar 20% off - what’s not to like!
