What do you keep in your wallet?

Often I just go out with my phone and a car key, sometimes the smaller “flat key”. I also sometimes take a small neck wallet with my main Visa credit card (same as the on Apple pay), drivers’s license and med card and AAA (also all on the phone), some cash. Wear it on my neck or carry in a small purse. A small drawer in my car has costco card and sams cards (also on phone) and library card (though I can use license as alternate) and a bit of cash. All other cards stay at home in a drawer in the kitchen. The other day I had dentist appt so fetched the HSA VISA from the drawer.

I still have a small wallet with all my credit cards and drivers license, but I am finding that I am not pulling out my wallet very often now. I have my CCs in the Apple Wallet. Recently I added digital ID (validated with my passport) to the Apple Wallet, which can be used at TSA. I have no need for cash any more. S

I keep all my credit cards, library card, automotive cards and insurance cards. My drivers license. In the middle I have $3000 in whatever Hungary uses for currency. Makes me feel rich. I think it’s worth about $2 USD.

I am one of the few that still uses a purse every day. I carry the same one every day for 5-7+ years. I like just knowing everything I need is in there and not worrying about thinking to grab something. Most of my pants also don’t have pockets. If I go on a flying vacation (not often) I switch to a fanny pack. I also keep the same one of those for 5-10 years. I don’t care about fashion.

This is my wallet. I love it. I had one forever - maybe 15 years? And when it wore out I was so upset but I found the exact one in belk for $10-15. It’s much more expensive in the link Kim Rogers® Thinny Thin Tab Card Case | Belk

Cash and coin go in an under pocket in my purse but I rarely have a lot of either

My girls swear by this wallet. It has two parts that snap together so if you don’t need to take a lot, you can take the very slim part solo, or have some more storage with both parts together.

That’s a cute card case. I opt to not carry a purse most days. But most of my friends do (except at the pickleball court) and probably find me a little odd.

So the first one H uses - very thin and durable, I use the second one Trove, it holds about 10 cards really best one I have ever had and use it in my front pocket. No purses.

The third and forth one H and I used for travel to Europe- work quite well. carried money, cards, and passport.

I was just thinking this too. I still carry a trifold wallet that holds a checkbook! I’d love to have a small phone case with space for a couple cards, but I’m clutzy so have a hard otterbox case that doesn’t have a wallet-esq accessory.

I have one blank check in the neck wallet. Sometimes handy on vacation, but probably it is less needed now that we do Venmo with family.

I haven’t carried a checkbook in years. I almost never write checks.

My checkbook is still in my purse. Do I ever need to pull it out to write a check while running errands? Never. But I balance it and do my bill paying at work. I don’t want to remember - today I do this. I just remember to grab and bring it with me today. I’d definitely forget or lose it at some point. And while I don’t write checks for bills often, some of mine still do require either it. Our real estate/personal property tax (6 checks/yr) and most all local doctors. And then some contractors (roof gutter guy who cleans ours 2x year)

In addition to what most of you do, I also keep a typewritten list of the drugs and dosages that DH takes and another list of what I take. DH’s list has come in handy during the two ER visits he had last year. And he takes a ton of different stuff, so it’s been extremely useful.

Still carrying a wallet — I have cash, credit and insurance cards, note with contact info and medical info, a couple business cards, and clipped to the outside is a tiny canister with my heart meds in it for emergencies. Also has photos of our family, because many years ago crossing into Canada we were asked to prove our kids were ours, and (pre cell phones) only a group photo saved the day.

I don’t like relying on cell service and chargers, generally, I guess that’s why I still carry a wallet (but no purse)
