I’m taking my first AP test today.
I’m going to get a 1 for sure
What will my AP score report say, because I don’t want my parents to know the score report and blah blah blah.
I really am not looking forward to seeing a 0 % on it.
So yeah,
When I get the AP results, what will it state exactly? the format?!
It’ll just say the scaled score from 1-5. It doesn’t tell you what you got right or wrong, or what percent of questions you got right.
Exam name and score. That’s it.
Maybe you will do better than you think. If it is truly horrible, I think you could request to delete the test and not have it graded.
Why are you taking an AP test if you are not prepared ? Schools get ranked on AP participation, which is a bit silly.
Congrats on taking an AP class. It is a good experience and has shown you what the equivalent college class is like, what you would cover (so are you still interested), what the workload would be like and it shows colleges that you are challenging yourself. You should / may have learned 50% of the material, heck that is 50% you already know on day 1 of the class in college.
Why are you scared of your parents here ? Did you get a decent grade in your class ? Why would they expect that you get college credit while a youngish high school student ?
The simple discussion to have is : my AP class was hard and had lots of hard material. I tried my best to study and prepare and did not do well. I am / am not going to take this class in college so I have either: a) started to learn the material so I will do well during the class and I know I will have to worked hard or b) saved you money and grief by not taking this class in college and (maybe) getting a bad grade in the class.
You wasted $90 - heck just skip some movies - and if you really, really know you can not succeed next time, don’t register ro the test or withdraw and get a partial refund.
I’m sure i’m gonna get a 1.
I just don’t know how to accept my failure ._.
