Indicate the number of community programs or organizations that have provided you with free assistance in your application process.
does it mean people who ive asked for help to fill in my application?
is it better if i say yes or no?
Better to say no because it’s better to do your app yourself.
This is just if you’ve gone to other organizations to get advice/help during the application process. For example, my whole school once did this workshop my senior year where people from the organization CollegeWise came in and helped us straighten out and enhance our application essays.
I stress that this means ~organizations~ so not like your counselor, teachers, or parents
Right, it isn’t referring to people but is asking if you participated in a program or worked with an organization.
This is usually where someone would list that they had help from a program like QuestBridge, or another community organization that helps students who aren’t familiar with the college process put together their apps. If you can’t think of any, it means you didn’t have help from a community organization.
