<p>unweighted doesn’t factor in the gpa boost from ap classes. so like, if you got all Bs and you were taking all APs, you would get a 4.0 weighted gpa, but a 3.0 unweighted gpa. (at least this is how it works at my school, where a letter grade in an ap class is worth one letter grade higher than the same grade in a reg class)</p>
