What holiday gifts are you buying (or receiving)?

Discovered the Kong that looks like a bone from Chewy- our dog loves it. I put peanut butter in the sides and freeze it.

Just saw Athleta is having a sale - 40% off several styles ( today only). I just looked a bit and saw the Rainer tights (great for walking/running in winter) and seamless turtlenecks are included among many others.

We used to send a friend harry an david pears every year - at some point the quality went down and we stopped sending them.

I agree that the quality is not as high as it was 20 years ago. But, I think they are still nice enough that they are a pleasant part of a bigger package of goodies.

I remember the first time I had the pears each one was like a delicious serving of nectar of the gods so an entire box of them was a heavenly treat. Now if it was just the pears, it would feel like somebody sent me some groceries. Which is nice but not special.

Thanks for this. Was able to get two pair of the rainer tights and a tank for my daughter for a decent price.

These are the best toys we have found. Our 2 1/2 year old lab loves them and plays with them daily.

When my kids go home with their friends in other parts of the country, I like to send a Made In Washington basket. If you have something like that from your state or I will call a great bakery in their area that delivers.

Many local grocery stores (Kroger, safeway and then the regional ones) have food baskets available for delivery. They might charge you $5-10 for delivery. I think you can order standard ones or they will customize. I think you’d get a lot more for you buck to go local. Of course there is always Whole Foods but that would probably cost you more. Amazon also has some things for you, including Harry and David

I’m looking for something more special rather than something you can get at the grocery store. I’m sure it would be cheaper though.

I don’t know what thread to put this in, I figured this is a shopping thread so?? On your Amazon acct, in the search bar type in “tip my driver” and you will get to a page with your last Amazon delivery and that driver will receive a $5 bonus at no cost to you. Just rate your delivery experience as usual for that item.
