What if E.C. activities are just not important to me..

I just can’t imagine myself caring enough about the environment, or being apart of my C.C. Student Rep, or volunteering for a cause I truly am not passionate about.

Is there anything I do on my free time considered E.C.?

I currently enjoy analyzing my modest portfolio and enjoy finance news
I work full-time as well as study full-time
I study during the Summers and take courses as well
I enjoy discussing philosophy with my peers online and in person
When I am not clocking in for work or studying, I am exercising for the pure fact of being healthy.
I enjoy gardening during the spring and summer
I make sure to stimulate my brain with crosswords, brain teasers, and other forms of brain exercises on a daily basis.

I understand that E.C. activities aren’t the end all be all, but it never hurts to have something. That being said, the only reason why I have not joined an activity or group or even invested the time to create an activity or group in my C.C. is because I want to stay true to myself and my goals and I just do not enjoy any of the aforementioned activities.

Anything you do in your free time is an EC. So yes, managing your portfolio counts. Working counts too.

And do remember that many places don’t care about ECs, so this may not matter at all.

Absolutely valid. In fact, you sound passionate about not volunteering for something that is meaningless to you which even sounds like a good essay topic.

I would be wonderful if you write philosophy essays and publish them.
You can also create a club for brain teasers.
