<p>In general, when it seems that you’re in danger of hurting yourself or someone else. But what exactly do you mean? School psychological counselor?</p>
<p>There may be school/school district or state department of education policies in place, i.e.</p>
<ul>
<li>referring a student to mental health or medical services</li>
<li>referring a student to the Dept. of Social Services</li>
<li>anger & behavior management</li>
<li>personal safety issues (bullying, physical abuse)</li>
<li>family issues</li>
<li>underage student wanting to quit school</li>
<li>substance abuse including eating disorders</li>
</ul>
