What is a desirable SAT score?

<p>Hey everyone I have just taken the SAT Reasoning Test today and was wondering for schools like USC, Caltech, Michigan, Duke what are the recommended SAT scores to be obtained for International Students. I took the practice test a few days ago without studying and got only 2050 so I prepared for the May test and am quite confident I will be able to score what I got previously.
I assume the cut-off score for Intl students will be higher so I’m thinking around 22xx or so. Can any existing students help me confirm this?</p>

<p>I got 21xx and got into Princeton, UChicago and Cornell…</p>

<p>It’s said that once you’re over the 22xx mark, it doesn’t matter what it is. All applicants over that score are apparently in the same category.</p>
