i have a very general background knowledge of economics like i know what gdp is

mmm…search it on the net. I would give you the name of textbook I use for IB econ but at my school we rent out the books and give them back every end of the school year, so I don’t have it here. Just in case it has a green cover, its pretty old, like 98, but its an amazing book. It goes over a general view of economics, stuff like elasticities, market failures, tax incidence, substitution and income effect, etc and some egenral macro theory ( including a bit of development econ)

here is something that I read that really got me interested in economics, “Economics in One Lesson”, I read the book, but it is online too(written in the 40s…but being economics, it doesnt really change much over the years) I would highly recommend this book as, as I said, it got me interested in the subject. I read some Friedman books beforehand, but they bored me…
