Kombucha
Olives, guacamole,or eggplant
Octopus, kimchi, and gochuchang
eggs benedict.
So youāve never been to a Chick fil A.
I canāt think of anything offhand. I usually try everythingādoesnāt mean I like everything.
I donāt like curry.
Iām a very adventurous eater but I donāt do fast food. Other than having a Big Mac or a Whopper back in the day, Iāve never eaten at any of the other popular chain fast food places. And honestly have no desire.
Iāve never had any Costco food from the food court, unless you count the vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate and almonds they used to have.
Never tried ceviche or poke.
Anyone else ever have a McDonaldās lobster roll?
@GKUnion I have! When I was dating my husband 30 years ago, he was stationed in Maine. I vehemently hate McDs food and never eat there but while visiting H, he had me taste his McDās lobster roll. I honestly canāt even remember how it was I do remember the tons of fresh lobster we bought and cooked for ourselves!
I cannot stand the smell of Indian curry (I think itās the yellow curry powder?). As a result, I have never eaten any Indian food. I do love Thai curry dishes though.
Technically a drink, but I havenāt tried kombucha. Something about it is too off putting for me. And I have tried pretty much everything else people have mentioned.
Me reading this thread and saying in my head āyouāre not missing muchā (McRib, kombucha, many of the fast food places). Iāve tried a lot of things once so not eligible for this thread, but once was enough!
Iāve never had a Corn Dog now that I think of it.
Taco Bell, Eggs Benedict, Boba tea
I apparently have less sophisticated tastes than many of you
Iāve had lot of fast food. Iāve eaten at the Costco food court. I like an occasional hot dog. I also like escargot and while I donāt hate Indian food, itās probably not my first choice. Middle Eastern food, now thatās my jam.
Iāve never had spaghettoās (is that how you spell it?). My kids loved them but I couldnāt get past the smell. Thereās not much I havenāt had.
Iāve never ordered anything from the Costco food stand. The number of fast food places Iāve never eaten at is too long to list. There are scores of popular foods I havenāt tried but, off the top of my head: macaroni or potato salads (anything with mayonnaise or looks like it has mayonnaise), Boba Tea, Chai anything, eggplant, beets, candied yams (anything with marshmallows), sweet potatoes, split-pea soup, meatloaf, bread pudding.
The list of popular food and drinks Iāve tried once and wonāt touch again is endless.
I practically lived on them in the early 2000ās. I think they were only a thing in New England. At the time, Quiznos (I believe, I know it was one of the sub shops) had one that was like 3x the size for 2x the price. I havenāt seen a lobster roll at McDonaldās in probably 2 decades.
Iāve never eaten anything mentioned so far but from the fast food places. Iām very picky!
Iāll add never tried lasagna or any type of casserole that includes any type of cream of anything soup.
I am pretty adventurous and will try anything once. Maybe a companion thread might be what is the most unusual thing that you have eaten? For me it was probably a meal in Mexico that included maguey worms and huitlacoche (a fungus that grows on corn). Both were chased down with plenty of cerveza and tequila!
