Hi,
I’d like to know what is basically taught in american high schools in math, english, etc during all high school.I mean what is taught in math throughout high school, for example

Mathematics: Algebra, Algebra 2 (polynomials, synthetic division, all that goofy stuff), and Geometry are the basic courses I can think of off the top of my head. The curriculum generally maxes out at Precalculus (functions, trig, more fun stuff), or even sometimes Single Variable Calculus. If you’re really lucky, your school might offer Multivariable Calculus, Complex Analysis, Number Theory (or other pure math subjects like Combinatorics), or other advanced stuff. But I think most dedicated students go up to Single Variable.

English: I’d like to think the curriculum isn’t so clear-cut. Most English classes usually consist of selected readings, writing projects, essays, etc. all meant for you to develop the ability to reason and argue passages well. The bulk of my grades came from writing a ton of essays, and you can visibly see yourself get better at developing different types of arguments. I don’t know, English was more of an intuitive thing for me. Some of my classmates were apparently already pretty exceptional at writing when my AP Lit class started :)

ahh i don’t know whats taught in high school but i can tell you that whats taught in college is HARDDDDD. sorry for the digression guys but it’s the last day of finals and i’m tiredd - just needed to vent for a sec :))
