What is considered an EC and what is not.

My EC at my school are horrible, they expect kids to jump for joy to join the S.A.D.D or Community Service club. Plus I also really don’t like sports.

Most of my time is spent programming. Been doing since 6th grade “in 10th now”, I know C++, C#, and Java. I have been apart of many modding teams for video games and also now I am working with an Indie team to make a video game. Is this considered an EC?

Other than that I do…
S.A.D.D Club 3 years
Big Buddy Club 2 years
Link Leader “Basically help freshmen” 2 years
and Spanish Club 3 years

I just really hate ECs…the ones I do I don’t even LIKE to do…yet if what I with programming is not considered an EC then I am just **** out of luck.

You’re unlucky. My school actually has a computer programming club. And a robotics club.

Programming sounds like a great EC

I second Desafinado.

you could also start a programming club at school.

Sounds like a great EC to me. If you made a video game, then it’s even more awesome.

“You’re unlucky. My school actually has a computer programming club. And a robotics club.”

He could attempt to start a programming club and a robotics club… He’s in 10th grade, which leaves plenty of time to start those clubs if he put his mind to it, no?
