What is love? I can't really tell...

so how do you know when you're in loooveee? does something special happen? are you in love when you kiss? how do you know its not mere infatuation or puppy love? I'm in a relationship but I don't know if I'm in love or if I'm just really infatuated with the person. this is so confusing! have you ever fallen in love??

What is love?!, baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me no more... Sorry had to sing the song after seeing the title.

You know your in love when, you look at the person in the eye and see a special bond. When you will give your life to save that person, and do anything to make sure they are happy. Puppy love usually happens very quick and ends just as fast. Love is confusing, so I can't really explain it.

You just know...
shrug

I remember when my fiance and I went from "puppy love" to "real" love. It was just kind of a click moment that let us both know we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with each other. I can't explain it.

I'll give you some of my favorite quotes on love.

-Love is just a word. What matters is the connection the word implies.

-Being The One is just like being in love. No one can tell you you're in love, you just know it. Through and through.

-I don't pretend to know what love is for everyone, but I can tell you what it is for me; love is knowing all about someone, and still wanting to be with them more than any other person, love is trusting them enough to tell them everything about yourself, including the things you might be ashamed of, love is feeling comfortable and safe with someone, but still getting weak knees when they walk into a room and smile at you.

-The moment you have in your heart this extraordinary thing called love and feel the depth, the delight, the ecstasy of it, you will discover that for you the world is transformed.

-We are all born for love. It is the principle of existence, and its only end

-Like everybody who is not in love, he thought one chose the person to be loved after endless deliberations and on the basis of particular qualities or advantages.

-When you're in love you never really know whether your elation comes from the qualities of the one you love, or if it attributes them to her; whether the light which surrounds her like a halo comes from you, from her, or from the meeting of your sparks.

-Love is the only sane and satisfactory answer to the problem of human existence.

-Love is a symbol of eternity. It wipes out all sense of time, destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end.

-Some say that true love is a mirage; seek it anyway, for all else is surely desert.

And my favorite love quote of all...
-Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and **** the prom queen.

But ultimately, love means something different to everyone. And you can't be told what it is until you've felt it for yourself.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

I doubt any of us nerds on CC can help you here, OP :p

Check wikipedia...

Love is a false reality, unnecessary to operate in this world.

Quite correct.

Money will get you close to love. Money can get you Things, which please you for a short time.

Love can't be attained, but it can be approached. As money approaches infinity, You will approach Love.

love, what is love?

Love is when you don't have to ask this question.

a mixture of oxytocin, vasopressin, pheromones, testosterone, estrogen, dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin (taken from the wiki page)

Love is a canvas furnished by nature and embroidered by imagination.

But seriously, I have no idea, I don't think I've really loved anyone yet.

Love is seeing someone and always smiling. Love is knowing that they are it, that you will always compare someone else to them and they win out right.

you know if you are in love, you arent, not if you have to ask. and if you think you are, ask yourself this, would you do for the other person?

It's just an excuse for boys to get into your pants, from my experiences with it.
