What is the airport that you use to get to CGA?

My dd has to buy her plane ticket before she knows whether she got into AIM because she has to figure out a leg of a trip overseas. Since we don’t have travel instructions yet, since she doesn’t even know if she’s GOING! it’s getting complicated! Anyway, which airport would she use IF she goes??? Thanks!

As noted in the other post, Hartford, Providence or Boston are all within a reasonable distance.

Even though most cadets fly into and out of Providence, we mainly used Hartford. It was easy and has fairly recently been remodeled in a very good way. It’s about the same distance but the route is less congested and flights cost about the same but fill up less quickly at Hartford for key periods like the holidays. Since most of a cadet’s trips cannot be planned far in advance due to duty schedules this is an advantage. The transportation for a swab or a fourth year is a little rough since they can’t have cars and they are somewhat at the mercy of who will give them a ride or what bus they can be on but later it is no problem.
