One my seniors in my HS took 15 and she is the top ranker. I can not go past 12.

I’ve taken 11 in all, though that’s pretty common here on CC.

10 here. don’t see the point of the thread. maximum is spelled with an a

I dont like this thread… its just going to make me feel bad about myself

Took 7 this senior year.

Took 11 in total.

11 FTW

yay 13! :)

A lot of AP State Scholars take over 20 AP’s, but I’m personally aiming for ~12 and hopefully will be taking 8 next year to get AP National Scholar.

classes =/= exams.

Well, I’ll just speak for my school - due to circumstances and like prereq’s, required electives, etc, it’s rare for a student to take any more than 12~13 Ap classes.

Exams, on the other hand…limitless.

Yeah, that’s true.

The average MIT applicant has taken 5/6 AP tests… by graduation.

Just thought I’d throw that out there…

i took 10, everyone my school offered though

My brother only took 3… his senior year. He goes to Harvard. Don’t kill yourselves.

Is your brother African American?

^^^most likely

14!
phahah, i feel like a nerd.

Soph: 1
Jun: 3
Sen: 6

Sophomore-1
Junior-3 (5 exams taken, counting the 2 Econ AP’s and English Language, which I didn’t take a class for)
Senior-4

My school limits the number of APs you can take. However, I got into Yale SCEA (non-URM, non-legacy, non-athlete) so it’s all good :)

Here’s a potential student

Freshman year:
AP Euro

Soph:
AP Gov
AP Bio
AP Environmental Sciences

Jr: Any of below, or all. It’s possible to do all / take all the courses, it meets lit, history, math, and science graduating requirements.
Lang
Physics B
Calculus AB
Spanish
Chemistry
USH
Human Geo

Senior:
Insert 4-7 more here!

That’s a lot of AP’s. This person would probably be an hero.

maximum is probably like 18(granted your h.s has that many). Although there are probably people who have taken all the AP tests

Sophomore: 1
Junior: 3
Senior: 3

So, only seven in all, which is not a lot for CC. My high school only offers 7 APs total, and I don’t think I could handle self studying.
