<p>I didn’t start drinking until halfway through my senior year. Its an ok experience… I suppose it does make wussy guys more willing to talk to you (not the type of guys I like to talk to though)… but the best times I’ve had drinking were with a bunch of my close friends in a non-party setting. We generally just chill and tell jokes, reminice, etc. Alcohol makes jokes SO much funnier… provided the people telling jokes were actually funny sober. But getting so drunk you throw up, or getting drunk to talk to the opposite sex, or getting drunk to get laid… not really that attractive or fun to me. The first is just gross, and the last two are just pathetic to me. Sorry.</p>
<p>You wouldn’t say alcohol made jokes so much funnier unless you’d ever smoked. I’ve laughed for 5 minutes at car alarms.</p>
<p>I’ve chugged some 151 before, it’s not that big a deal. Of course, it was at a relatively dry party and so all I had for the rest of the night was a beer, so that probably helped me some. Although that was the party I ran a mile and a half through a swamp away from the cops when they came to break it up.</p>

<p>Oh man, I got so spectacularly hammered last night.</p>
<p>Between my friend and I (we were at a party) we took out an entire bottle of Crown Royal, we each had huge strawberry daqari’s and then we got into rum & Coke. We were promised some weed but our buddy flaked, highly disappointing. So we just chilled and smoked cigars.</p>

<p>15 kids got arrested at a party the other night in my town. I ran away (thank you track and field). Needless to say, I don’t think we’ll be having any parties anytime soon, thus explaining why I’m inside on a Sunday night. This sucks.</p>
<p>advice I need right away, how do I convince a friend to not drink and drive tonight? She’s going clubbing tonight and claims she knows her limit and is driving with 4 other people who can’t drive her stick. She did the same thing last night. My roommate and I are very worried about her.</p>

<p>if she was fine last night, calm down and she should pull through. however, give her your number, or put it on her cell-phone’s speed dial, and make her promise that if she doesn’t feel okay, to call either of you guys or a cab. </p>

<p>No, because he was driving drunk and endangering me and my little brother. you could tell he was drunk. swerving lanes, making weird and late reactions (like skipping stop signs).</p>

<p>Anybody who says it’s “pathetic” to drink and people who get drunk do it as an “escape” is a ****ing loser. You drink and get drunk because it’s fun. Some people are such losers here–I don’t use drugs, but these people don’t even drink? God, live a little. It’s college.</p>
<p>eh…although I’m an avid drinker, I try not to criticize people who don’t drink…it’s kind of hypocritical…if you don’t want them to judge you, don’t judge them</p>
<p>jpps1, dude step back, I think a lot of people who are on this thread are in high school, and coming from personal experience, it is really hard to get drunk in high school because no one can buy the stuff. seriously at parties where we have the alcy guys from our school come and buy it for like twice the price and save it up cuz it’s so hard to get.</p>
