<p>It’s a conversation between a husband and a wife who are discussing their economic circumstances. However, the woman is nagging her husband because they are poor and he has done something (which is not known until later) wrong. She becomes upset because the man did not want to do whatever the “job” was and his wife talked him into it. In the end, the reader finds out that Judas Iscariot (man who handed over Jesus to the high priest) is the protagonist and his wife is actually responsible for “forcing” him to hand Jesus over. The ending makes references to the fast that perhaps the wife had convinced Judas that Jesus would not rise. However, Jesus does rise and Judas then decides to hang himself. This is a very different adaptation of the story of Judas and incredibly intriguing.</p>
