suggestions?

try…

UPenn
Northwestern
Brown
Williams
Berkeley
Michigan
Cornell

you have a decent shot at all those schools.

What do you want to major in?

You have a shot at the top colleges as listed above but don’t forget matches and safeties. I would retake SATs or try ACT for a stronger chance.

I agree with above that top colleges are within reach, but definitely not a sure thing. It’s worth trying for a couple, but be sure to have schools on a match and safety level that you’d love to go to. You don’t provide any indication of what type of school you’d be interested in, so the level of selectivity for which you qualify is about the only thing we can tell you, I can’t make any specific school suggestions. GPA is great, obviously, but ECs and SATs are mediocre (in terms of top scool admissions. Obviously they’re vastly above true average), and there certainly wasn’t anything that popped out.

Retake tests and try to get interest from soccer coaches for a chance at top schools. You have a good GPA, but that won’t be enough.

Brown
NYU
WUSTL
Cornell
HYP are reaches.

ok. well i kinda wanna major in premed, and go somewhere on the west coast. i dont really plan on playing soccer in college… i was for sure going to apply to stanford and berkeley

If you’re in state, you’re probably fine for Berkeley with current scores.

junglebum:

UCB: Match (out of state)

should i retake my reasoning test or the subject tests?

Subject tests are good enough for top schools.

If you think you can do better on SAT, maybe 50-100 points more combined, you’ll have a decent shot at the schools that people have posted. (not including ivies, which are hard for everyone)

i wouldn’t waste a day retaking any tests. Your scores are good enough to be competitive anywhere and its not like an extra 50 pts or something will do anything significant

Definitely Ivies…duh…look at those ap’s lol.

Go for the Ivies! That company founding bit is impressive!

really? its called Umbrellaline productions. we have generated over thousands of dollars and plan to donate it to charities…

Did you take the AP tests?

ya. got 4’s on physics and stats. plan to take ushistory, language, calc, and bioM in may

what are my shots at: stanford, berkeley, cornell, gtown, michigan, penn, usc, hyp, uchicago. percentages please! thanks

junglebum:

UCB: Match (out of state) = 60%
