Strange, I was able to watch last week on DirecTV!
Last week the first episode of this season was called the Preview with the same episode renamed this week as the Premiere.
So stand down if you watched it last week.

Season Finale of Sherlock
Premiere episode of Victoria
Premiere episode of The Young Pope
Oh, man… I meant to DVR The Young Pope.
Just saw The Young Pope is on again tonight, so I set up to record the whole series. Jude Law was on one of the last night talk shows earlier this week (Colbert?).
Well, I watched the premiere, and I was surprised!
um…, ya think?
Homeland Spoiler…
I guess I thought the Homeland premiere was a little boring, but so glad Quinn is alive.
I re-watched Homeland season 5 then watched premier season 6, Disappointed. Glad Quinn is alive, but how did we get there? It was boring. I hope the season picks up.
I had forgotten how intense Carrie could be. I wouldn’t want her in charge of my physical therapy!
As I recall, every Homeland season premiere has been slow and a bit boring - they’re setting the stage for the season. But that’s just my take on it.
I am glad Quinn’s alive, but not sure how well his recovery will play on the show. Hope they are setting the stage for an interesting season.
I was surprised that It was no secret that Quinn would be returning this season, alive, but a changed man.
Friend was interviewed last year and was very forthcoming on the topic. It’s always surprising when someone who has such a good American accent sounds completely different!
Actually, I was quite surprised to see Quinn still alive. I was pretty sure he died. What clues did I miss?
I was surprised, too.
It was sad, but it seemed very much to me that he died last season. That flash of sunlight and all… It seems a cheat to me but not as bad as the one they pulled on House of Cards when Doug came back. He was truly a goner!
Quinn doing his best Lieutenant Dan minus the wheelchair.
Carrie has to be his Forrest Gump.
Since he didn’t actually die last season, I knew he might be alive. Of course, even if he had died, there could still be a twist. The magic of tv.
But agree, this first episode wasn’t so interesting. On some binge series, it just seems every year is really good.
News I saw said the season following this one is also planned.
Oops, I missed a critical word- “on some series, it seems every other year is really good.” And in-between, not so addicting.
Can’t believe I forgot to tape Homeland.
