Love this season, so rich, a whole new arc. And sometimes scarily current.

My favorite show. I had surgery last year and I do not watch much TV. So, a friend recommended Homeland. I watched seasons 1-3 on Vudu because we do not have Showtime. I have not seen the current season but cannot wait for it to come out on Netflix or Vudu. I had no idea Damien Lewis was British. His accent is spot on.
Me either @woodlandsmom ! I was surprised to hear that, and a tiny bit embarrassed when a friend told me that he is a very prominent actor in the UK (?).
I think Damian Lewis is doing a new show for Showtime called “Billions” or something like that.
Peter Quinn is to Homeland as Edith is to Downton Abbey.
The Quinn actor is British, too. And wasn’t Lewis in early Downton? Believe it or not, I haven’t watched that yet.

Homeland is amazing. These last few episodes have kept me on the edge of my seat for sure, I’m loving it!
But no other series can surpass Fargo. It’s a masterpiece bordering Breaking Bad level, getting nominated by every major award venue for best mini series and actor/actress in every year it’s on. Dark humor, brilliant cinematography, script and acting. What more can you ask for? Nothing, you betcha!
That new series with Damien Lewis and Paul Giamatti looks really good.
Do not even get me started on what an incredible actress Claire Danes is. I do not like her character all the time but I think she does a great job portraying her. It is like watching a train wreck and not being able to look away. I just think she is fabulous.
Yes, Claire Danes is a phenomenal actress, but watching Quinn’s reaction to the sarin gas was quite dramatic, too!

Quinn has been through the ringer but he is quite a stepping razor usually. Give him a chance to come back!
I just finished Homeland.
Excellent season. Fantastic show…but what a bummer! Those who watched the season finale know what I mean.
I have that last episode from Season 5 to watch . . . and I’ve been putting it off! Don’t want it to be over! 
Just finished binge watching Honeland Seasons 4 and 5. I was worried I wouldn’t like it anymore after Season 3, but boy I was wrong. They’ve continued to do a great job. I just love watching Saul talk.
This is our favorite show. It is always changing , never boring. Now when is House of Cards starting up ?

Wow, I can’t believe there’s going to be a “next” Homeland. But I’m glad! I guess Cary leaves Europe. I wonder about Mr. Rich and Handsome and the final end (if it was) of Peter Quinn. Her parting with Saul seemed irrevocable but I guess writers can deal with anything!
I remember feeling cheated with House of Cards last year. I thought Doug was dead. Glassy eyed, staring, and bleeding after Rachel wacked him with a rock. If he came back who knows what could happen with Peter Quinn.
Why did Carrie have a different last name in the flashback in which she meets Allyson?

I was bummed they killed Allyson…I wanted to see her put in federal prison.
