I love the guy who kills the bad guys…

And the most annoying character award goes to the daughter

I had no idea he was British until I read your post. His American accent is indeed good.

I second that. And the son is almost non-existent as a character in the show. Maybe they’re saving him for later.

I think Brody is still a bad guy. It was pretty evident when he participated in the assassination - very willingly and with a lot of zeal. He also doesn’t really care much for his family.

I think the girl who plays the daughter is a great actress.

Look what that character has to go through…

Did anyone see the SNL parody??

The daughter just kept walking in front of the scene, saying, ‘Dad? …Dad??’ in her typically whiny voice. Soooo funny!

I knew I had jumped the shark when the Gen Patraeus scandal happened and I said “why dont they just hide it like they do on Homeland?” I will be sad if Saul is a bad guy. I love Carrie but her weird expressions get to me sometimes. Didnt Mandy leave Criminal minds?

David Harewood (the black actor who played CIA director David Estes) is also British. If you saw the finale you know that he will probably not be back for season 3.
The SNL parody was hilarious.

Mandy Patinkin was only on Criminal Minds for two years, from 2005-2007. I am watching an episode right now!

I read that he was upset he was on the show. he wasnt into what it featured and thought he would never work in tv again. I liked Damien in Band of Brothers too

NJres, can we see your bald head on the show? If we can, I will fast forward and look for you. If it is like high speed trading, where the human eye can’t really see your bald head,
I am not going to bother. ;)

No clothes shots?

Like the title of the thread asks… What? Nobody watches Homeland?

How are you liking the third season?

I usually have to watch each episode, twice. It is almost like I miss something, a key detail, the first time.

It is a fantastic show.

SPOILER ALERT (if you have not watched Season 3)

I usually have to watch it twice, but then I choose to watch it three times.
After the big reveal a few weeks ago that Carrie’s latest breakdown was a farce to lure Javadi, I texted D1 and said, “Did I ever thank you properly for turning me onto Homeland?”

Have to say, I was THRILLED that there was no Dana on the last episode!

I like Dana a lot.

I love the show. The show is very intense. I can barely handle the intensity. :)

I’ve been sucked in too. I wonder what’s going on with Peter Quinn? I have a funny feeling he has a crush on Carrie, maybe after hearing her with Brody last season.

The new director is a total weenie! They will have great plot twists trying to get around him, especially after Saul locked him in the conference room.

I am waiting for them to put the next season on hulu or netflix or even itunes.
But in the meantime Im watching Scandal
Which is way better than the title.

This season has us on the edge of our seats. Homeland is the only show we watch religiously .
Dana gets on my nerves a little too.
I think Quinn has a crush on Carrie too. We plan our Sunday nights around this show

Loved season one, liked season two despite some of the incredible plot lines, think season three is…meh. I am still watching, but every week wonder if I will give it up.

Lizardly-- I totally agree… meh… I find it dull and listless, compared to Seasons 1 and 2. I’m waiting for it to get exciting. Although I gotta say, I’m glad there’s no Carrie/Brody love stuff going on. I never felt the chemistry between them. And, I, too, did not miss Dana for one minute last week. Looking forward to tonight. Maybe it will start to heat up in the second half of the season…

And Scandal— ya!! love it!

I tried to find the first season to start from the beginning but it’s not online anywhere that I could find. So I watched the first episode for this season. There is a woman who thinks her son was killed by the FBI because they thought he was a terrorist. She puts on a bomb vest and goes to confront the government people to force them to tell her why they killed her son. (Or something like that). I could not watch it past that scene. It’s pretty weak with lots of overacting. The scenes cut away so quickly, it is hard on the eyes. I’m surprised it made it past the first season but then again maybe the first season was better.

Netflix has season one & two.
I have to watch season three on Hulu.
I admit some of the most recent episode was a little hard to take but anything with Joe Morton & Joesph Melina works for me.
I watched it from the beginning, you really need the backstory.
