<p>I adore Homeland. I watch it on a site other than Showtime, since I don’t have cable. I think Clare Danes is beyond remarkable. Dana is indeed annoying, Mandy is superb, and something is definitely going on under the surface with Quinn.</p>
<p>I just started watching Scandal on Netflix this week. I’ve been binge-watching and am partway through the second season. I cannot believe how hot Tony Goldwyn is on this show, and the chemistry between him and Kerry Washington. The moment when he said to Olivia “Just stand here with me.” Yowza! There was a palpable energy field between them.</p>
<p>Homeland has lost its way a little this season but I will stay with it…Scandal is great and I think you really have to watch it from the 1st season…that way you can forgive some random poor episodes. As to Tony Goldwyn…I just love watching his every move! don’t much like Jake as a result.</p>
<p>I worked quite a bit on Homeland this season as an extra, and even as a stand-in a couple of times. I was very pleased to see myself on screen a few times… and my car too!! I was cast as a detective - walking around in a suit at the scene of the double murder, and I saw myself a few other times in the background. It was a lot of fun, pays minimum wage, I don’t speak (I am not an actor) , and I don’t meet the stars.</p>
<p>dstark - I wanted to clarify my remark regarding Dana. I think she’s a great actress, but the story lines they’ve been giving her have been sub-par - seriously, who ends up dating two such violent/destructive guys who belong in prison, back-to-back as they had her character doing?</p>
<p>I admit the Dana character is hard to watch.</p>
<p>I think if you are a teenager and your father is thought of as a mass murderer instead of a hero while your mom is shtupping your dad’s best friend, you might make some very poor choices.</p>
<p>How does Damien Lewis not know he is being photographed on the beach? The pictures are so clear and close, the photographer must have been next to him with a water proof camera.</p>
<p>I guess it’s from the guy she picked up in the store??</p>
<p>I’m not real thrilled with that story line. I just think there’s enough other good material to work with that they shouldn’t have to throw in some of these other story lines that they can’t give justice to. </p>
<p>Am wondering if we’re going to see the Brody family anymore, I mean, before they bring Brody back from Venezuela (which you know they’re going to tease us with as the season winds down).</p>

The thing is - they would have definitely done a pregnancy test before admitting her and drugging her in the psych ward… unless it was afterwards in which case she’s knocked up by the red-haired liquor store guy.</p>
<p>That was too long ago. I think he’s been gone at least five months. If they try to convince us that it’s his, I’ll lose some serious respect for the writers.</p>
