What should i do?

Hey Guys,

I’m 14 and i study at the best high school in Singapore. It’s the national university’s high school and it’s almost equivalent to Bronx.

I had a question. My CAP(GPA, just out of 5), has been kinda bad for the first 2 years but i dont think it matters because universities usually look at the last 4 years before u apply for uni? Is this true? Like they’ll only start looking at my grades from this semester onwards. My CAP was 2.6 out of 5, and then 2.6 again, and 2.6 again and i finally decided to buck up and it came up to 3.8.

I want to get into one of the ivies or a uni like uchicago or john hopkins. Do you guys have any idea what i can do? Or am i just a hopeless case?

Thanks.

Schools normally don’t look at grades until high school (4 years before you apply), and even then they don’t tend to pay attention to your freshman grades. So I’d say as long as you keep up good grades for the 3 years before your graduate, then you’re not a hopeless case at all :)
