<p>I would assume you would just need the basics. Your teachers should provide you with a syllabus on the first day of school that will go into specific materials he/she wants you to have. However, don’t be too nervous, you get used to high school after the first week or two. This is all I brought:
1)Pencils and pens
2)backback lol (don’t forget that;))
3)binders
4)glue, color pencils, notecards
5)organizer(something to write homework in)
6)paper
7)For the first couple of days, a list of where your classes are(I think it depends on how big your school is but mine has around 2800 students(=several buildings/classrooms) so I needed it)

<p>all you really need for the first day is a notebook and a pen. they’ll hand out papers saying what crap you have to get. & you probably won’t use half of the stuff on that list anyways</p>

<p>On the first day just come with a binder for each class and some paper and pencils. Oh, and come with the knowledge of how to spell supplies right:)</p>

<p>I’d suggest that you buy a couple binders before school actually starts, but don’t bring them with you. The teachers will tell you if they require one or not. Trying to shop for your needed supplies after the first day of school can be really hectic, so you might want to get most of what you think you might need and leave it at home. If you require just an extra binder or spiral or two that won’t be hard to find, but if you have a huge list of items you waited to obtain… local stores will probably have some stocking issues.</p>

<p>Also, you might to hold off on buying <em>everything</em> before school. Chances are you’ll get some OCD teacher who wants everything just so: a red three-inch binder, with exactly three folders, all in blue…etc. It sucks when you buy everything and then use none of it because of said teacher.</p>
