<p>Last year I failed English 9AB, so I asked my counselor if there are any options for me to make up that class. Her reply was: “I don’t know honey, adult schools only accepts Seniors this year.” I asked her are there any more options? And again her reply was I don’t know. So I went to my nearby adult school. Turns out, they are accepting sophomores like me! After I took the English course, my school sent the transcript to my counselor. When I went back to my counselor to ask her if she had gotten the transcript, she says: “No honey, I’m sorry, I haven’t receive any transcripts lately.” I knew she was a liar, because I went back to my adult school and they said that the transcript was already sent to my counselor. What should I do now? If I go back to my counselor, she would straight out deny it.</p>
<p>Get a copy of the transcript and hand deliver it. Boom.</p>

<p>Get you parents involved. Maybe if you and you parents go to the principal, and show him the transcript, he’ll believe you. You could also get the adult school to call your high school and tell them you took the class.:)</p>
<p>Get your parents involved and also get a different counselor if there are other ones available at your school. It’s helpful to talk to many different counselors because a lot of them are incompetent and only have one formula for students. Most of them are not aware of outside opportunities and the different paths available to high school students. I had a different circumstance than usual in high school and I was thoroughly disappointed on a regular basis by a multitude of counselors. I ended up doing what all of them told me not to and I couldn’t be happier… </p>
<p>It’s best to do your own research about pretty much everything and take what counselors say with a grain of salt…</p>
